- ABOUT THE FILES -

What kind of file will I receive?

Our printables come in a PDF file format. Many of the PDF files are contained in a zip folder to reduce file size.

What software to I need to open and print the PDF files?

These files will only work with Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is a free, easy-to-use software that's already installed on most computers, please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed. Download it for free at here.

  • MAC Users: Be sure you open the files with Adobe Reader and NOT Preview (the default PDF viewer on a Mac).
  • Windows 8 (and above) Users: You’ll need to open the files with the full desktop Adobe Reader program. The files won’t work correctly if you use the default Windows PDF Viewer or the Adobe Reader APP.

Can I open and edit the files on my smartphone or tablet?

Our files are only compatible with Adobe Reader's desktop version and will not work on iPad, iPhone, or other mobile device. You will need to download, edit and print the files from a laptop or desktop computer. Also many of the printables files are contained in a zip folder to reduce file size which are not compatible with these devices.

    Why can't I open the file(s) on my Mac?

    Macs will open the Mac PDF software called preview by default. You just need to be sure to open the file(s) in the latest version of Adobe Reader instead (download for free here). To do this, launch Adobe Reader first and open the PDF file directly from Adobe Reader itself. Or, right click on the file name, select "Open With" and select "Adobe Reader."

    - PRINTING -

    Is there a limit on how many times I can print the files?

    No. You may print as many copies as you like for your own PERSONAL use. You MAY NOT resell, distribute or share our products in any form.

    What type of paper should I use?

    Most of the digital files are formatted on 8x11" paper sheets (unless otherwise stated), which is suitable for both A4 & US Letter size paper.

    You can use any white card stock. A thickness of at least 100 gsm is recommended for most printables.

    What type of printer should I use to print the files?

    You can print the files at home or at a local copy shop. If printing at a copy shop, make sure they can handle password protected PDF files (this is for security reasons to protect our designs). File can easily be opened in Adobe Reader. Please note the color varies from printer to printer.​

    Can you print the the files for me?

    AspenJay doesn't offer printing services. All files offered for purchase on this website are digital. No physical products will be shipped to you.

    - CUSTOMIZING -

    Can I edit text?

    The files are non editable unless otherwise stated in the product description. The files have editable text fields, can be edited only in the designated specified areas using the latest version of Adobe Reader with either a Mac or PC Computer. Simply open your saved file within Adobe Reader, click on the existing text highlighted in blue and change the text. 

    - PAYMENT -

    What payment methods do you accept?

    You can pay via PayPal or credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). You don't need to sign up for PayPal to make a purchase. Simply select the “Pay with a credit or debit card” option under the Paypal login window on check-out. Paypal is the safest way to pay for your purchases online while keeping your financial information private and protected.

    When will I receive my order?

    Once payment has been processed (which may take a few minutes), you will be able to download the files from the order confirmation page as well as from a link that will be sent to you via a link to your paypal email address. Be sure to check your junk folder if you have not yet received your order.

    Files that are customized for you, will be sent to your email address within 2 business days of receipt of payment. 

    - TERMS OF USE -

    Can I resell your printables or the printed materials from your printables?

    No. Both freebies and purchased files are for your own PERSONAL USE ONLY. You may not sell them in printed or digital format, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly. You may not upload them to sharing sites or host them on your website. You may not alter, transform or build upon the original designs. You may not extract design elements from the files and use them within your own work. You may not claim files as your own.

    Can I share the printables with friends/family?

    No. These files are for your PERSONAL USE only. Please be considerate of the work put into the designs and do not distribute them in any way.
